Developer Proposes Casino Complex in New York City

Silverstein Properties, a New York City real estate developer, has hired the architecture firm CetraRuddy to design an entertainment complex that will be located in the Hudson Yards district.

The project will consist of two buildings, each with 46 floors, and was designed by Steelman Partners of Las Vegas and CetraRuddy of New York.

The planned location for the Avenir project is a vacant plot of land of 92,000 square feet to the north of New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. A sequence of glass-encased shapes with metallic accents may be seen in the renderings. On top of the eight-story casino and entertainment complex will be a hotel, affordable housing apartments, and a theater.

According to experts of online casinos in South Korea, there will be a wide range of floor plans and apartment sizes available.

It has been suggested that the buildings also serve as a home for a thousand plush hotel rooms. The 45th story covered promenade connecting the towers will have a performance space with 1,000 seats for public and community events.

At least 12 dining and entertainment venues will populate the 600,000 square foot (55,741 square meter) casino at the project’s core. The developers claim that the Avenir would adhere to the “highest modern sustainability requirements” in terms of both design and construction.
